Uday Chobe's career spans over 25 years at the very heart of India's most demanding industrial environments. Not as an external advisor, but as a senior HR leader embedded inside some of the world's most rigorous organisations — Volkswagen, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Škoda Auto India, and Endurance Technologies.

He has personally led union negotiations, managed large-scale industrial disputes, built statutory compliance frameworks from scratch, developed leaders from supervisory level to senior management, and navigated the full complexity of Indian labour law in real-time, high-stakes situations.

In 2020, after three decades of corporate HR leadership, Uday founded Universal Consultant — bringing that rare depth of practitioner experience directly to organisations that need it. Whether it's a manufacturer facing a union crisis, an SME building its first HR structure, or a foreign MNC entering India and needing someone who understands both global standards and ground realities — Universal Consultant exists to solve real problems with real experience.

Beyond his professional work, Uday serves as Chairman of Arunoday Bahu-Uddeshiya Vikas Sanstha — a social development organisation working on education, cultural awareness, and rural development across Maharashtra for over 16 years.
